First Connecticut Credit Union Converts to FLEX for Integrated Advancements and Operating Efficiencies

Wallingford, CT (July 2013) -- First Connecticut Credit Union has converted to FLEX core processing to serve its 9,700 members. The credit union is based in Wallington, Connecticut and oversees $40 million in assets. Led by industry veteran Susan Brown as CEO, First Connecticut converted to FLEX from a CUSA after carefully evaluating several options for core data processing.

Atlantic City Federal Credit Union Signs with FLEX

Lander, Wyoming (August 2013) -- Atlantic City Federal Credit Union located in Wyoming with three branches in Lander, Shoshoni and Riverton will convert its core processing system to FLEX in September 2013. The credit union was drawn to the native integration of FLEX modules and the core’s ability to automate many processes including System Management, Data Backup, Full Document Management Suite, Internet & Mobile Banking, and Check21 Teller Capture. Atlantic City FCU serves 10,700 members with $105 million in assets.

Pocatello, ID (April, 2013) -- From its humble beginning as Idaho’s first credit union in 1935, the Pocatello Railroad Federal Credit Union’s (PRFCU) maintains a rich tradition of resourceful innovation in order best meet the needs of its members. As illustrated from an historical section of the PRFCU website, the earliest deposits from Idaho rail workers and their families and associates were kept in a railroad employee’s lunch box.

Today, PRFCU’s management and staff conscientiously work to keep their core mission alive to serve the personal financial needs of their members efficiently and vigorously. Since late 2011, the credit union has been led by CEO Richard Ely and his senior management team including John Cole, COO and Diane Dehl, VP of Human Resources/Administration. Together they have restructured Pocatello Railroad Federal Credit Union resulting in improved profitability and member services. Because technology is such a critical component of customer service and can be cost consuming, PRFCU found it necessary to re-assess their core system.
