What's Next In Your Mobile Banking Strategy?

Recently, FLEX Strategic partner, CO-OP Financial Services, released their findings from a survey of credit union members. The summary of their findings is that members value convenience first, and because of this they are using online banking and mobile banking more than ever. Yet, the majority of both mobile platforms and online platforms aren't meeting the needs of credit union members today. Here is the article:

The verdict is in. Your members want fast, convenient, and brilliant mobile and digital banking options, and you’re in the process of meeting those needs.

A recent CO-OP quiz on mobile banking strategy revealed some interesting results. A few factoids to consider:

  • 66% of members are most concerned about convenience or speed.
  • 36% use mobile banking more than ever – 12% use it almost exclusively.
  • 56% say their online banking solution “needs attention” or “could be improved.”
  • 19% of credit unions called their mobile banking strategy “best in class.”
  • 31% say their mobile strategy is ready for takeoff.
