Sandy, UT (September, 2012) -- FLEX announced today that its fully integrated Check21 feature is active and available at a portion of the cost of other Check21 add-on components available to credit unions. The new feature streamlines check processing at the teller level in credit unions on the FLEX core processing system with highly efficient integration. The FLEX Check21 feature is not only cost effective but also eliminates the need for batching as many Check21 processing add-ons demand.
This general release comes after a full series of BETA release implementation standards have been tested and proved. In Washington, Tri-Cities Credit Union has found great benefits. "We have recently switched to the natively integrated and immediate process of FLEX Check21 and are very pleased with the improvements and efficiency," said Doug Wadsworth, Tri-Cities Credit Union President. Tri-Cities serves 3,585 members in one location with $23M in assets.
“What an exciting offering for FLEX System clients,” said Sean Holcomb, Senior Vice President of FLEX. “This JAVA-written Check21 solution is uniquely embedded into the FLEX core system delivering one of the industry's most sophisticated Check21 solutions. It is the latest in an aggressive series of internally developed applications designed to simplify credit union operations and substantially reduce costs.”
This FLEX solution offers an integrated alternative to stand-alone systems within the credit union industry as it is now possible to access the benefits of Check21 directly through the core processing system from the point of customer contact. According to Holcomb, the new FLEX Check21 integrated offering is the latest success in Computer Marketing Corporation’s commitment to simplify credit union processing with an end result of time and cost saving measures.
In recent years, credit union industry personnel ranked FLEX first among competing vendors for customer satisfaction. FLEX serves nearly 300 credit unions in locations across the nation, including Alaska, Hawaii, and the Eastern Caribbean. The company enjoys established relationships with all regulatory agencies, corporate credit unions and major industry partners.
